We're looking for someone experienced in leading Creative Marketing, Data & Metrics, and Social & Digital Media teams (agency and client-side). You should be prepared to drive the brand forward, with a passion for mentoring and creating remarkable digital experiences. Your innovative marketing concepts will impact all Designity departments, spanning Clients, Business Development, Branding, and Learning & Development as you nurture and expand the Marketing division.
Designity is a subscription-based collaborative creative platform that enables creatives and businesses to collaborate more effectively through unique and innovative model. This collaborative approach has convinced both small and large companies, including Calendly, Kung Fu Tea, and Marriott Hotels, to use Designity for their design and marketing efforts instead of traditional, costly, and inefficient alternatives.
We are transforming the creative industry, moving away from outdated and ineffective marketing and design methods. Companies typically hire in-house designers, which is costly, time-consuming, skill-limiting, and requires substantial supervision. Working with traditional design and marketing agencies offers an alternative but at a high cost. Marketplaces like Upwork and Fiverr claim to offer a more affordable solution, but their model lacks reliability and optimization for creative services, causing frustration for businesses.

- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's business objectives, enhancing brand awareness, and driving user acquisition and retention.
- Lead and mentor a talented team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure seamless integration of market trends and user feedback into product features and enhancements.
- Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, content marketing, social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and event marketing.
- Cultivate relationships with key industry players, influencers, and partners to expand the brand's reach and foster strategic collaborations.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact and ROI.
- Leverage data analytics to monitor and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet KPIs and drive sustainable growth.
- Be the brand custodian, ensuring that all marketing activities convey a consistent and compelling brand message that resonates with our target audience.
- Navigate the evolving digital landscape, staying abreast of new tools, platforms, and innovative strategies to keep the brand at the forefront of the creative tech industry.
- Usher in a new era of technology (web3, blockchain, virtualization, NFT, etc)
- Living in NYC area and willing to come to the office in Manhattan at least 3 days a week.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the tech or creative industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that have resulted in market growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive a team towards excellence.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the talent to engage and negotiate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in marketing analytics and tools to evaluate and optimize campaign performance.
- Innate creativity paired with a data-driven mindset to inform decision-making.
- Demonstrated agility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Compensation: $110,000 - $150,000 (total of commission and base)
