When Collaboration Meets Innovation: PUL Case Study

Being in the orthodontic industry means that designing an engaging brand while still being trustworthy is no easy feat. PUL’s target audience falls into the millennial and GenZ pool, so their branding must be vibrant enough to catch their attention but not so loud that they come across as cheesy.

Digital marketers and executive team members Jannet and Kaivon had plenty of experience in the freelance marketplace, but the experience was overwhelming and unreliable. Because of this, they wanted to invest in a design service without breaking the bank. They were looking for a company that they could build a lasting relationship with.

About PUL

PUL is an up-and-coming brand in the dental industry. They are best known for their Invisalign remover tool and chewies. They discovered a gap in the market: people need a hygienic way to remove their aligners and a clean way to pop them back in. 

PUL’s unique (and aesthetically pleasing) removal tool gives wearers a nearly hands-free removal experience. They also offer a carrying case for aligners and daily aligner cleansers. 

The problem

With a growing business comes the need to scale and expand marketing efforts. After their experience with unreliable freelancers, they knew that they needed more than just one person to navigate this process, but the bandwidth to source creatives wasn’t available. 

They wanted to build a long-term relationship with a reliable partner that understood their industry. A big concern was being able to launch their marketing efforts without having to split projects across multiple avenues. They were looking for a one-stop solution to cover all of their design needs. 

In addition to that, they wanted to work with someone who understood their vision and went above and beyond to execute it. 

The solution

When PUL first approached Designity, they thought that Designity would be like every other overpriced design service where they see limited results. Kaivon and Jannet were pleasantly surprised after being matched with MJ, their creative director.

The project

Their CD was able to match PUL with a team of designers and a digital marketing strategist who not only understood their industry but also their specific needs. The team strategized, optimized, and tested their campaign strategies.

The team also created multiple design concepts which led to a design style that the PUL team really liked. Along with their packaging design and display ads, we are also working on a full website rebrand.

The future

The more PUL grows, the more they feel like they have a true design partner on their side. Designity has helped them gain a competitive edge in the industry, and they want to continue to use Designity to stay on top. 

Future projects include redesigning their marketplace outlets and growing their PUL community.
