Jr (Emerging) Business Development Representative (Remote, US)

WHO YOU ARE

Sell me this pen….!

Just kidding…, but you must have exceptional people skills with an enthusiastic, outgoing, and fearless disposition. A true go-getter, you see your role in Business Development as a champion of a truly disruptive service you can get behind and champion.

You’ll be responsible for all top-of-the-funnel sales activities with the goal of scheduling demos with ideal prospective clients and you’ll have all the tools to make you successful. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you’ll use Designity’s best-practices along with your own creative flair.

The best candidate for this role will be a “Creative Hunter” who constantly tests new methods of outreach for effectiveness.

There are limitless growth opportunities in this position and within Designity. This is truly a startup, growth-mode environment, so you must be up for the challenge, but if proven to be successful, you'll have the opportunity to step into a Business Development Representative position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute initial outreach to marketing leaders using the tools and methods provided. Maintain an organized process to follow up with a pipeline of those who have expressed interest in Designity's services
  • Reach out through Linkedin and other channels to potential clients.
  • Craft compelling messages that will resonate with your specific targets and ignite interest in learning more
  • Follow up with leads to schedule qualified meetings for the DBD.
  • Educate (with confidence and enthusiasm) Designity's unique value proposition, while fielding questions and expertly handling objections
  • Experiment with new and creative ways to reach ideal prospects
  • Stay up-to-date on current marketing, creative, and design trends, as well as changes to Designity's service features
  • Meet and exceed the quota of scheduled demos, outbound phone calls, and emails

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of proven business development prospecting experience in the U.S.
  • Quota-exceeding track record-setting qualified meetings
  • Experience using a CRM tool (not required)
  • An understanding of lead development best practices and procedures
  • Drive to continually break through barriers and crush goals
  • A self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in ambiguity.
  • Strong focus on execution and a can-do approach
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven.
  • Exceptional at organizing a pipeline of opportunities
  • Studies in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Creative agency experience is not required
