Director of Partnerships & Sales


We are seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships & Sales who has a passion for strategic partnership to help grow Designity to the next level. You should be a very strong strategic person with great closing skills to identify, develop, and execute on mutually beneficial partnerships.

You should be a highly-driven sales leader and charismatic with a proven ability to drive sales and develop strong partnerships. You should be also experienced in development, coaching, and leadership of a sales team with a positive and values-driven mindset.

This is an amazing opportunity for any entrepreneurial, self-starter professional with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically.

Designity is a subscription based virtual creative platform that is disrupting the traditional advertising agency model, creative recruitment firms, and traditional in-house creative teams. We do this with technology, innovative ideas, and new ways of seamless virtual collaboration. 

Our vetted community of US-based Creatives and Creative Directors collaborate to support mid to large sized businesses with their design and marketing needs. Hundreds of brands like Oracle, Audible, Marriott International, Pfizer, Calendly, and Kung Fu Tea have already benefited from Designity’s unique model.

While we still operate like a startup (it can get very fast-paced at times) we are in full scale- up mode.   • Develop and Manage strategic partnership across the creative and tech industries, as well as educational institutions and communities. 
  • Develop and manage all day-to-day communications with partners, including creating  and tracking incentives.
  • Gain understanding of the competitive landscape and opportunity set of our subscription plans  and map those with external opportunities and priorities to realized partnership results.
  • Develop strategies to communicate, promote, and evaluate partnership opportunities on behalf of the organization
  • New customer acquisition through inbound, referrals, partnerships, and sales development
  • Vet, hire, develop, and train the appropriate team of Account Executives, Account Managers, and Sales Development Representatives
  • Retain and expand existing clients with a positive experience and ruthless execution of our playbook


  • 7-10 years’ experience in partnership creation and sales of digital products
  • Experience in Advertising, Marketing, Data, and Vendor Trends within an agency setting
  • Proven ability to strategically plan and execute company objectives
  • Excel at building relationships internally and externally with donors, implementing partners, and other stakeholders to drive incremental business, value, and revenue
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to self-start and follow through on initiatives with minimal amount of supervision
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, writing, listening, quantitative, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while working as part of a team
  • Strong Business Acumen

Compensation Range $90,000 - $130,000

The Hiring Process

1. Interactive  Application

We don't read resumes! Because we believe in getting to know you in a more effective way, our method is a little bit different. We may  ask for a quick video to let you express yourself.

2.Intro Video Call

A member of the Careers & Community team will schedule a 15-30 minute video call to learn more about you and talk more about the Designity community.

3. Challenge Project

Because work product tells us more than words on a resume, we assign you a challenge project so you can show off your skills!

4. Technical Interview

Have a chance to meet with one or more of the leaders to chat about the role and opportunity and talk through the Challenge Project you've completed.

5. Offer & Onboarding

Getting started is as easy as 1-2-3! Once you accept an offer, we celebrate! Then, we move you into our onboarding process to start your journey.
