Content Writer

Our ideal Content Writer is a creative thinker and proactive problem solver. The Content Writer will be responsible for writing informative and engaging content to showcase client projects/products. You will be  working closely with the Creative Director on client projects who will  be responsible for project management and providing direction.

Designity is a subscription based virtual creative platform that is disrupting traditional advertising agencies, creative recruitment firms, and traditional in-house creative teams with tech, innovation, and new ways of seamless collaboration. Our vetted network of US-based Creatives and Creative Directors collaborate to support mid to large size businesses with their design and marketing needs. Hundreds of brands like Oracle, Audible, Marriott International, Pfizer, Calendly, and Kung Fu Tea have already benefited from Designity’s unique model.

While we still operate like a startup (it can get messy at times) we are in full scale up mode. We’ve been doubling our revenue year after year for the past five years, and 2022 will be our biggest year yet thanks to new blockchain and VR technologies that we are integrating into our model. This means wearing many hats, stepping in where necessary, and taking on the challenge of a startup - but also reaping the benefits!


  • Create campaigns, experiences, websites, blogs, and social content that will capture audience attention
  • Utilize knowledge of SEO to improve site and increase web traffic
  • Work cross-functionally with the internal teams to extrapolate product content for usage in other areas
  • Develop content guidelines to set tone and voice of the brand
  • Collaborate with Creative Directors and provide frequent communication to internal stakeholders
  • Help oversee an up-to-date library of internal and external facing developed assets
  • Develop and communicate best practices on content management and content hygiene to our internal stakeholders
  • Possess thorough knowledge of up-to-date best practices and relevant changes in the industry
  • Translate complex concepts into content that is easily accessible to a range of audiences
  • Collaborate with designers, technologists, marketers, and others on creative projects and campaigns from conception to rollout
  • Developing and writing scripts that can be translated into immersive video experiences
  • Provide the highest level service to clients in a proactive, creative, and professional manner
  • Provide input on project plans as needed


Hiring at all levels: Including Emerging to Pro-Creatives

  • Record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio
  • Understanding of search engine optimization(SEO) best practices
  • Experience in Content Writing, Copywriting, or similar role
  • Familiarity with web publications
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English 
  • Ability to review client’s requirements for brand image, products, and services and create compelling content
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs such as Google Docs 
  • Ability to manage a high-volume of tasks with a strong sense of urgency

Compensation Info: based on experience and hiring level - $36,000-$80,000 + bonus

The Hiring Process

1. Interactive  Application

We don't read resumes! Because we believe in getting to know you in a more effective way, our method is a little bit different. We may  ask for a quick video to let you express yourself.

2.Intro Video Call

A member of the Careers & Community team will schedule a 15-30 minute video call to learn more about you and talk more about the Designity community.

3. Challenge Project

Because work product tells us more than words on a resume, we assign you a challenge project so you can show off your skills!

4. Technical Interview

Have a chance to meet with one or more of the leaders to chat about the role and opportunity and talk through the Challenge Project you've completed.

5. Offer & Onboarding

Getting started is as easy as 1-2-3! Once you accept an offer, we celebrate! Then, we move you into our onboarding process to start your journey.
